I'm curious If anyone have good experience with a
Bernabe Torres, made by PB jr?
I hear different story's about the quality of the luthery of PB-jr, But after trying lots of instruments, made by famous and not-so-famous luthiers, I'm very satisfied with
this 1864 Torres copy, made by Paulino. Really outstanding.
The sound is very rich, deep basses, singing trebles and very good mid's.
The best is that It's very "alive" in your hands and it has a real character, an old voice.
It took a while till the real quality came out, but it did.
So now it's a keeper.
Anyone else with good or bad examples of JR's Torres copy' s?
