GB £..850 Jose Antonio Fleta Copy, Edinburgh

Post by RobMacKillop » Wed Apr 11, 2018 11:53 am

Type: Classical
Year: don't know - only three or four years
Scale length: 650
Nut: 52
Top: cedar
Bracing: fan (nine - as per Fleta)
Back/sides Indian Rosewood
Fingerboard: ebony
Bridge: rosewood
Sound - very like a Fleta
Condition: very good
Price: £850
Location: Edinburgh

These cost £1350 - see Kent Guitar Classics - so, one in near perfect condition for £850 is a bargain. Selling to raise money.

I have a video, but as I play without nails it might not be of use to you, but here it is anyway.

For anyone interested, I have seen very good comments about the Jose Antonio Fleta here on the forum - seems that it is not only looks the part but it also captures some of the sound. A search will find references quite easily.

Goold luck with the sale Rob.

Cheers, Simon. Even full price they are good for the money. I sound like a used-car salesman! But I mean it.

There's one currently for sale in Brighton which costs £1650. At 50% off this a bargain.
Remember Anthony Weller, please help. Contact myself or Aaron Green for details.

I heard these models are actually made in Spain. Is this true? Anyway, seems like a good deal.

Yes. The company is Japanese, but the instruments are made in Spain. A very close replica of a Fleta. Genuine bargain.

Hi Rob

I know this is a for sale thread but I just had to tell you how wonderfull sounding your playing is. If I could sound like that without nails they would be getting cut of immediately. I can only imagine not having to worry about breaking, tearing, filing, ramping etc!

Good luck with the sale.

Many thanks, appreciated. Well, you never know until you try - for at least six months. Most people who try without nails usually give up within a week. Best wishes!

Try without nails is a good way to star a new "relationship" with guitar for sure:)
