-Other:Purchased from an excellent fellow Forum member several years ago. Per information provided by original owner this instrument was built to reverse-engineered plans that were drafted by Jeff Sigurdson. The bracing is described as “symmetric.” I do not have further details. This is really an excellent guitar, especially at this price. I have never played an actual Friederich, but this instrument held up quite well compared to a fantastic Delarue that I owned at the same time. The buttery smooth Scheller tuners are quite a bonus on this instrument.

With kind permission from the original seller, a video of this intrument being played by the Canadian guitarist Patrick Teggart is linked below

As you mentioned, those tuners are a nice bonus, but to me that perfect cedar top is incredible! Every year it seems to get harder and harder to find guitars with top woods that are so nice.

That's a wonderful guitar for a great price, good luck on your sale; I'm sure that it won't be in your hands for long!

Thanks Gord. Indeed the quality of the cedar top was the first thing that struck me when I picked this instrument up. I don't think that I've seen a more closely and evenly spaced grain pattern, and I've owned and inspected many great guitars over the years. I'm sure that the quality of the top contributes significantly to the silky and balanced tone. I appreciate your comments.
