Ah, unfortunately: "This is a Region 1 DVD. It will not play in a DVD player from United Kingdom."
Do a search for "region free dvd player". They play DVDs from anywhere and they don't cost that much more. That's all I've always had.

Also - apologies if you already know this, but a free option - depending on what model DVD player you have, there may be a hack or cheat code, a 4-digit code to key in with your remote when you play the DVD, for your existing player. There was a hack for my old one, a Toshiba, but not for my current one, a Sony. Search for "regional hack codes for DVDs" to see if there's one for yours, you will get results like this - https://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks - or ask a tecchie friend.

Why not just google Narciso Yepes - Grandes Intérpretes (Region 0) [DVD] [NTSC]. - No need to remove a commercial link this time. Good luck.

I've got a Sony multi-region, multi-format BluRay player (BDP-S1500) - it wasn't hugely expensive (it has even dropped in price since I bought mine), and I can play any kind of disc on it - even those awkward SACDs that my CD player can't handle.

Erm...I've been through the lot. Favourites are the vihuela album, and the contemporary album, the rest are either very good or a bit weird in varying degrees. The Scarlatti, even though some items are duets with himself, has some incredible playing on it. I've enjoyed reaquainting myself with albums I used to have, but also discovering some new things. Recommended.

Thanks for that Rob, very interesting indeed. It's strange how one's attitude can change towards something when being revisited after many years. How we thought then and how we think now.
