Hello, the guitar sounds wonderful! You play very well.
There is very little information about Bill Glez out there, at least to a casual search. Can you tell us more about his history as a luthier? He seems to be quite a master already, do you know how many guitars he has built?
thanks,
Peter

Hi Peter,

Thanks! I am not sure how many guitars he has built. Him and his brother own a succesful wood flooring business, which is his main source of income. He studied for a few years in Spain, I can’t remember with who. He has been building for about 4 years now I think, maybe more. Me old guitar teacher from my undergrad introduced my to him. As far as I know he only has a facebook page called Bill Glez Guitars. If you message him on Facebook, he can tell you more, and who he studied with.

Hope this helps

I purchased this guitar. Thanks to the seller.
This will be my first classical ever. I have been looking for a good, luthier built guitar (rather than a factory guitar) that I could afford and this fit the criteria. The luthier does seem unknown, so that is a gamble, but it looks like a fine instrument and sounds great to my ear.

Congrats to both parties! It does sound very nice. I think it’ll be quite the guitar for your first classical :D

Hopefully you guys will get a chance to play and keep some of Bill’s guitars in your inventory, Zavaletas. Not too many builders can top him in his style.

I spoke with him, and his new guitars are going for $5,500. He has built between 15 and 20 guitars.
He studied under Pablo Requena and is entering his guitar in a builder competition in Spain this Fall. Rafael Padron is a player who owns and uses one performing.
