I always loved this Bach's concerto. It is for violin and string orchestra, later arranged by our beloved Bach for harpsichord, although analysis proves it might have been written for a viola da gamba. There are drones on strings violin doesn't have.
So I felt justified to transcribe it for guitar. I even played that to Thomas Müller-Pering. He liked the idea, and rightly suggested not using low D. It creates a contrabase-like sound on the guitar. Alas, I was too lazy to put it one octave higher, as my graduation concert was too close. And from 2003, I had no good reason to play it again.
