It appears the thief knew what he was doing, as two instruments of lesser value were left behind.
Thats kinda scary because it implies the possibility that there was an "inside job" aspect to this theft. Not that its been proven but still you can't help but think about it.
This raises a serious dilemma: Can we reveal the type of guitars we have (for those with higher end models) in an overt fashion? It's scary when one sits down to think about it.
I had someone tell me how many years ago one of his friends was playing a gig in Los Angeles with a high end guitar (70's Strat). After the show, he was approached by a beautiful woman and they went to spend the night together - he left his guitar unattended apparently (idiot!!!). Well, in the morning, girl was gone - and yes, so was his guitar! The person that told me this said that his friend knew right away that they (he was sure there was more than one person involved) were after the guitar, as his wallet and everything else he had with him was completely untouched.
I hope Naeim Rahmani gets reunited with his Brune real soon.
