Carcassi, Matteo - op.60/12 Etude - Video

Post by josefmazan » Fri Jun 22, 2018 1:24 pm

Hello everybody,
Here's my rendition of this etude. It uses thumb in the style a flamenco guitarist would.
Thanks for watching,
Josef

Hello Josej,
Although this is one of the better Carcassi studies for development, it is not very musical.
But you make it sound great!
Thank you for the post. I enjoy your videos.

I also practice in another way to make stable my right hand. If your right hand is not stable, your tremolo will not be excellent....

Formation of left hand and right hand feels very important...

Thank you very much,
I'm happy you like my videos, Kent :) I'll keep going, recording as much of the repertoire as i can.
Question tonmshu1: what is your way of practicing this? I absolutely agree with you, right hand must be stable.
Bye,
Josef

At the beginning, I used the same way to play like you. Later I changed it. Because I found the right hand was not stable. I used p to play 4th, 5th, 6th strings only.
