Hi everyone, a question: is the mixer also a sound card?

Not exactly.. I'm terrible with these things so the best I can do is link you to someone else trying to explain.

Thanks, now I know more. Currently I connect the microphone directly to the PC with the USB key but the result does not satisfy me much. I can have a Behringer mixer worth about 100 euros and another microphone worth about 60 euros. I was interested to know if using them (at the moment I can not try) I could improve the sound quality, using the same pc. In practice, I connect the microphone to the mixer that I connect to the PC where I use Audacity. Excuse the prolixity and naive considerations but as for technology I am rather lacking.
