Thank's to the David Jacques 2 cd recording I discovered the beautiful music of Antoine Carré de la Grange.
It is said to be a world première recording, dating from 2009.

A French baroque composer and the music is like the Corbetta and De Visée. Very beautiful music for the guitar.
Sadly few of his music pieces have survived.

Here is the complete electronic scan his 1671 book in baroque guitar, French tablature:

David Jacques also recorded: "Pieces de Guitarre de Mr. Remy Medard", also a French baroque guitar composer, and a 3 CD complete De Visée edition.

Thanks for this Stefaan! Came cross this old thread as I've been listing to David Jaques's youtube videos. He's put heaps of videos up in the last month or so, fantastic playing on a very enviable collection of instruments including surviving original examples, wonderful lesser-known composers, and every video only has a handful of views. Antoine Carré de la Grange is great, thanks for the link!
